Film Strips Battery Projector

[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]This handheld projector from the 1950s would have been considered hi-tech when it first became available to buy. <\/p>\n

It was battery operated, making it mobile for use anywhere. However, in the 1950s, batteries were much bigger and heavier \u2013 the battery required to run this projector was almost as big as the projector itself!<\/p>\n

Film strips were placed in the front of the projector, which had a light inside. Next, the projector was pointed at a wall, displaying the projected images of the film strip onto the wall.
