Knitted Swimming Trunks

[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]These home-knitted swimming trunks are a great example of knitted swimwear. <\/p>\n

You can just imagine how heavy they could become when wet. The waist elastic would need to be very strong to keep the trunks in place. Despite the imperfection of the material, knitted swimming trunks and costumes were common due to the natural \u2018elasticity\u2019 of knitted wool, making it ideal for close-fitting clothes. <\/p>\n

Knitting was a popular and practical hobby and many clothes were made this way.
