It\u2019s part of a series of figurines known as \u2018For King and Country\u2019, including a soldier, sailor and airman.<\/p>\n

\u2018Land girls\u2019 is the name given to the women who worked on farms and in agriculture to help ensure the country\u2019s food supply. They had many responsibilities, including ploughing fields, planting crops and caring for livestock.<\/p>\n
