Before plastic bottles, lemonade and other fizzy drinks were produced in ceramic bottles like these.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The lemonade factory was just one of many production industries in Dingwall. Nowadays, only the sawmill remains.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This bottle was uncovered in Brora\u2019s village midden, or rubbish heap, in 2002. It shows that Dingwall lemonade was also popular to the north!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
