This reusable fire lighter would have been invaluable for getting the flames going. It is made of a very absorbent stone similar to pumice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: large; font-family: Comfortaa; font-weight: normal;\">The stone would be dipped in paraffin and would absorb enough so that it would burn for several minutes, allowing the fire to take hold.\u00a0 It would then be retrieved using the wire handle (carefully without burning fingers) and, once cool, could be put back into a jar of paraffin ready to be used again next time the fire needed to be
