Cycle Stand
Brora Heritage Centre

This ingenious device holds the wheel of a bicycle. The bicycle is rolled into the open arm and, once over a pivot, the arm, and its opposite counterpart, clamps the rim of the wheel and the bicycle is held upright and stable.

Due to a very clever design, the bike is unclamped by being wheeled backwards, causing it to unfurl from the arm clamps.
