George’s Janitor’s Uniform
Brora Heritage Centre
As a gregarious man, George revelled in the company of the school-bairns and became a respected and trusted friend to all, pupils and staff.
On the day of his retirement, he arrived at school to find pupils and staff assembled in the school hall. A special presentation was made to George, along with dozens of cards from staff and pupils. Each class gave him a scrapbook too, with all their memories of what George meant to them and what he had done for them.
