Highland Museum of Childhood

Strathpeffer, Ross-shire

The Highland Museum of Childhood is located in the Old Victorian Railway Station in the spa village of Strathpeffer.

The museum’s collections are mostly themed around childhood (originally set up to house the doll collection of local lady, Angela Kellie) and feature toys and games, clothing and textiles, education material, photographs, books and larger items such as prams and cradles. We also now collect items relating to the local history of Strathpeffer and the railway station.
